Part 2: A Cross-Cultural Celebration at Parroquia Stella Maris Church

One of the most beautiful elements of Cristine and Alan’s wedding day was the blending of two distinct worlds. With Cristine being a local Puerto Rican bride and Alan hailing from the United States, their guest list spanned across the continent and the island. Because they had loved ones traveling from all corners of the US, logistics and accessibility were top priorities.

Since Stella Maris is tucked directly into the vibrant fabric of the town, we captured gorgeous portraits of the newlyweds as soon as they arrived at the hotel, which is located 5 minutes away by car.

And let’s be completely honest: sometimes even the most spacious hotel suites just aren’t built to handle a show-stopping wedding dress train! Cristine’s gown featured a spectacular train that absolutely deserved its own physical space to breathe. Moving outdoors for their couple portraits allowed us to fully spread out that gorgeous fabric on the terrace and on the fab staircase I mentioned earlier.
